I have been working for Northern Pines Mental Health Center in central Minnesota for over 9 years. In this rural setting I have gained experience as a generalist, seeing people of all ages with a broad range of issues and diagnoses. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have completed the Permanancy and Adoption Competency training. My personal background includes being an adoptive mother; my four children were born in Ethiopia. I often refer to the work by Heather Forbes and Beyond Consequences material.
