Description
Brenda Benning, MSW, LGSW has been working with families who are parenting children with traumatic histories and attachment related issues for three years. Primary focus for Brenda has been adoptive families, but she has worked with biological families also. Brenda is also an adoptive parent with children with various trauma histories and attachment issues. She has trained extensively with Heather Forbes of the Beyond Consequences Institute and uses the techniques learned there to help parents see their children’s behaviors as communication and restore hope for the family’s future.
