CASCW engages with community partners to keep a pulse on the current issues facing today’s child welfare workforce. In addition, we practice community engaged research and evaluation through research projects and our unique data sharing project, Minn-LInK. We also recognize exemplary leaders and practitioners in Minnesota’s child welfare community through the presentation of three annual awards.

HUP

The Hennepin-University Partnership (HUP) has existed since 2004. Between 2009 and 2010, CASCW joined with HUP to conduct research on foster care re-entry, adoption disruptions, & systems of care working with long-term foster youth.

The Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community produces information and training of importance to the field of child welfare.

MCWTS

CASCW works with the Minnesota Child Welfare Training System to bring child welfare-relevant training opportunities to Minnesota’s child welfare workforce.

MCCCA

CASCW has partnered with the Minnesota Council of Child Caring Agencies (MCCCA) on adoption, well-being, and policy issues related to child welfare. CASCW also provides consulting and evaluation services to MCCCA.

Youth Development
