The MN Social Service Association put out a call to action. The full MN House, on April 6th, will begin debate on HF 927 (the Omnibus Health and Human Service bill). The House version HF927 makes no cuts to the CCSA block grant, while the Senate cuts it by $22 million for the biennium (the CCSA block grant is the sole source of state funds for Child Protection). There are major cuts proposed to other services that children in care rely upon.
To voice your opinion to your Representative before debate gets underway, call or email before 11:00 am, Wednesday April 6th.
