This week is crunch time for budget decisions at the Capitol. As we learn of hearing schedules and budget decisions for the House and Senate, we’ll keep this blog up-to-date.

The schedule for the House Health & Human Service Finance Committee (& Reform, too):
Tuesday, March 22 – NO CHANGES
The joint committee of HHS Finance and HHS Reform will meet beginning at 12:30 PM in Room 200. The joint committee will meet until 4:15 PM. Again, this meeting is for the author to walk through the omnibus bill and the spreadsheet, and take questions from committee members.
Wednesday, March 23 – TIME AND ROOM CHANGES
Only the HHS Finance Committee will meet. The committee will begin taking public testimony at 8:15 AM in Room 118 of the Capitol. The committee will recess at 12 noon. The committee will begin again at 12:30 PM in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building and recess at 4:15 PM for the House Floor session. The committee will reconvene at 5:30 PM in the Basement hearing room to resume public testimony.
Thursday, March 24 – TIME AND ROOM CHANGES
Only the HHS Finance Committee will meeting. The committee will begin making up the Omnibus bill at 12:30 PM in Room 200 State Office Building. The committee will recess at 4:00 PM. This is a change in time due to the floor session time being moved to 12 noon. The committee will reconvene at 4:30 PM in Room 5 of the State Office Building. We will be in Room 5 for the duration of the evening.
