Youth in Care and Social Media Use Online Module

These modules are designed to engage social workers and caregivers in considering how foster youth use social media and how social media impacts foster youth. This includes considering both the benefits and risks of social media use. The first module provides an overview of the literature; the second module provides a framework for social workers and caregivers to reflect on their own technology use and how caregiver technology use may impact youth; the third module includes scenarios for social workers and caregivers to work through together.
